iPads have everything you love in a MacBook just in a more portable package, which makes them perfect for summer travel. They fit easily in a personal item or carry-on, take up less space on a tablet but still bring Apple's signature speed.

Entering day 2 of Prime Day, we're checking in on the iPad deals. The base Apple iPad is still sitting at $299, $25 away from its previous low of $274, but that's not our favorite deal. Another iPad just dropped to a new all-time low, and we're all in.

Here are the best deals to shop this Prime Day.

Why we like it

Our very favorite iPad, the iPad Air, is the best tablet money can buy, and it's an even better value on sale. The Air, which prior to Prime Day was sitting around $559, is now down to $519.99. That's the tablet's new lowest price ever, saving you $79.01.

It's an incredible tablet, as powerful as a laptop. So while you can do the tablet basics — streaming, internet browsing, reading, and gaming — it can handle more. For creatives that means graphic design, illustration, and photo and video editing.
